Hi Guys, i'll try and be concise...
I got a B&O MX1500 last week, it was bought for retro video games.
1st up, it seems to work, but I am struggling...
(after everything I've read, I'm not sure I can get into the menu with a beovision 1000?)Anyway, my sega Saturn arrived, nice colour picture and no sound...tried it on another tv, same, so not the B&O) so..that has gone to one side to be fixed/repaired.
I then got an AV modded Famicom (Arrived today) the best possible picture out is the composite cables through scart block...I do get a picture and sound but in Black and White! The ONLY way I can get this is through the 'SAT' input on remote.,...
Anyway to get this in colour...where am I going wrong!
Thank you for any help, Dek.
Welcome to Beoworld !Beovision 1000 is black and white only.Maybe you meant Beolink 1000?Not that it changes anything, really, since Beovision MX1500 doesn't have a menu- primarily because it doesn't need one.I suggest you get a copy of the user manual. It's available for download from ourmain website for silver and gold members.Martin
Pressing the SHIFT button followed by the TV button will select the scart input, but I suspect that the SAT button is doing the same thing anyway so this is unlikely to change anything.
I'm not familiar with these consoles, but perhaps the device is outputting an NTSC composite signal? The MX1500 supports PAL not NTSC and this could explain the monochrome picture.

I'm not sure it will help you but to get colour from my XBox360 on my LX5500 I had to buy a new scart special made for RGB. One of the two scart inputs on the LX5500 handles RGB.
