I am looking at mum's speakers, having sorted out the Beomaster. The woofers were replaced some time ago with parts from RS. I note the crossover isn't quite as the common schematic copied below for reference. In mine, the tweeter, the coil and one of the resistors are all in parallel. It doesn't really affect my diagnostics. I just thought I'd mention it.
I am slightly surprised to see what look like aluminium electrolytics. Shouldn't these really be polyester or polypropylene ? As yet I haven't got as far as being able to say there's something wrong with the crossover as opposed to connector.

You show the schematics for Beovox S35.It's different from Beovox S35-2
Electrolytic capacitors are original and fine.
This is one of the best sounding 2-way speakers ever built, you really should get a pair of original woofers (and refoam them if needed).

Assuming just for a moment you're right and I have a failed woofer possibly from when the amp produced a lot of hum you don't happen to know who sells these woofers by any chance do you ?

I'm not sure, what the problem is with your speakers?I may have an idea where to find a woofer or two but do you still have one good original woofer?If you do, then fit it and compare to the RS replacement.
I have an open circuit woofer. The tweeters appear to be original and continue to errr tweet.
These woofers are R.S. part number 432-946 . I am not averse to replacing both.
The foam surrounds appear to have been done but again I'd rather do the job fully.
What do you suggest I replace with ?
