Dear all,
according to the manual a LC1 light control can only be used with a Incandescent light bulb, but I was wondering whether I could use a led bulb with my LC1? What is the difference in technique between a LC1 and 2? Could a led bulb be used with a LC2?
Thanks!
Wouter
The LC2 can be programmed to on/off mode, which the LC1 cannot.
The LC2 cannot dim LED bulbs, only turn them on and off..
When turning of a lamp connected to LC1, it will dim the light until it is dark, when turning off a lamp connected to LC2 in on/off mode, it will turn it off "quickly" like a light switch..

And don't forget that the LC2 needs at least a 40W load. Most LED 'bulbs' use less than 40 W. This leads to not functioning illumination or flickering LED!

Ahh yes :) Forgot that one... Very important.. I actually had this problem with one of mine...

Thanks to both for the answer, but why is this the case? Both an Incandescent light bulb and a led bulb work with very basic dimmers...
