I have just returned from holiday and cannot get my Avant 55 to turn on. All I get is a flashing red light - about 1 -2 second intervals. Avant was powered off as my wife is paranoid about it catching fire - it is on 24/7 the rest of the year....
Any thoughts? PIN? (I have no idea what the PIN is right enough). The Avant does not react - nothing works, no speaker coming down, no stand, basically dead other than the flashing red light. The manual is not clear what the issue is.
When you said the Avant was powered off, do you mean it was unplugged from the mains? Because a slow flashing red means just that:
From B&O: Slowly flashing red: The TV has been disconnected from the mains supply and you must enter the pin code. See the online guide for more information on the pin code system, available on www.bang-olufsen.com/guides.
Contact your dealer for the PIN if you have forgotten it.
Good luck!
I have the same issue.
And if I turn on the screen I just see B&O fading in and out again and again. until the tv turns off. how did you solve it?
