Seems that this page (or group of pages) isn't quite finished yet.

I wonder if they will disappear again - for a while.

Maybe not intended to be public yet?

How did you find these, Emil?

Anyway - now we are talking 'multiroom', B&O multiroom!

I was looking at their homepage as usually, and there was two Essense pictures, with two different links. so I guess it was not on purpose.

Bluetooth would be weird, out of sight box with pairing button? Never seen an always pairing device? Would be able with a bluetooth box/device extender thingy. Love the look of the UI of the app.

Moment bluetooth pairing is always on. No need to push a pairing button.

Should be the same on the Essence.

Interesting to see Beosound 9000 in multiroom setup too. :) Even a dedicated icon in BeoMusic app.

The page, that Enil linked to in the op, is now correct online.

There are no two entries for the BS Essence under the SoundSystem section anymore.

But - the link from the Essence still leads to the description of the 1. Gen Essence.

The webmaster probably enjoyed his weekend and the nice weather here (after much rain).

I guess we will still have to wait a bit for the specs of the 2nd Gen - maybe untill mid-september?

@Carolpa

I guess 'your' BC2 is more likely a BS5.

But why not a BC2 - if the other ML-audiosystems can be integrated, the BC2 (for audio) could also , I suppose.

I wonder, if we will see an icon for a BL3500 some time soon, as well?

@MM

it aren't "mine". They come from a screenshot of the Beomusic 2.0 app.

How the BLC is set-up, determine which icon in the app is shown. So if an apparatus is shown in the dropdown menu, then there will be an icon.

There are also icons for a BLC, BV11, Avant. And  the V1 I presume

I just meant, that the icon that 'you' described as for a BC2, is for the BS5 - as I see it.

---

This means, if a BL3500 (or a BL2000) is shown in the dropdown menu, there would be an icon for it?

Would be nice to see some screenshots shoving all these possibilities.

Would be great for showing people, who still a uncertain about the NL-products.

---

P.S. which other company in the A/V world, is able to present a new technology, that integrates with older products - just asking?

Or as they write on the B&O site: Live. Like No One Else.

Will Beosound Moment be able to feed e.g. Deezer to one Masterlinked room and TuneIN to another (but NL linked) room? Or is Moment in this context considered as one source?

Very very cool!!!

How exactly does it work with the Beolink Converters? Do I need one for each legacy device? How large are they and are they powerd?

The NL/ML Converter (that I believe you refer to) is a box that connect the NL environment with the legacy ML. Its not a very big box and it is powered. Its connected both to your internal network (cat cabling) and Masterlink network.

Will it be possible to trigger eg a Beolab 3500 to play a source from the Beoplayer app? Ie wake the BL3500 from Standby?

Actually you can. The IR has even a dedicated JOIN button

If you want to use a remote the sources reachable is dpending how the BLC is programmed.

Depends how the BLC is programmed. If I'm correct it is connected to the shared NL product

Sorry - then I misunderstood you!

I thought that you had the BLC (which is actually needed anyway) somewhere in your setup, and that the bathroom was a ML-room.

Then - of course - it would have been a 'BeoLink Passive' and not the plain MCL2P there.

I do know, that the ir-eye of the BLC has the join-button.

I guess, I should have to read your post twice, before I posted the question 😳

Anyway - it would be nice to know, what is possible from a MasterLinked room - from an Active Link, from a BL3500 or even from a ML-tv.

There is a new video posted on YouTube, but it just appeared to be a collection of lifestyle clips. Maybe in missing something.

Thanks for your reply and help. I used the wording from the B&O web-site (BeoLink Converter). Is this the same as te ML/ML converter or will there be anything else to come? Does it have to connect via cable to my home network or could be wireless? Would I need one converter for each legacy device? I have several ML devices, but they are currently not connected with each other. And last question: does the new multi-room setup allow to play audio to a BV5 via the BeoMusic App (with NL/ML converter) without turning on the screen (audio-only)?

Steve I am asking similar questions on the new thread about the overnight multi room announcement.

To answer one question :) the BLC has a subtitle on its manual of NL/ML which is why you see both terms being used.

There is also I believe sometimes a delay adjustment/ box that is needed between the audio on both networks.

I also believe (by absence of information) that BLC is not equipped with wireless support

Note my belief =/= a fact Big Smile
