My Beolink 7000 needs hospitalization. The rechargable batteries are dead - they wont hold a charge, and I think the LCD Blue screen needs replacement. I don't have the skills to fix this. Can someone recommend a repair center for me?

Thanks so much!

Benny Amina at Modular Electronics in Georgia USA has repaired several Beolink 7000's for me, replacing the IR receive and transmit capacitors. Reach him at benny@aminaaudio.com.

I have new battery packs made by radio control hobby companies, like cheapbatterypacks.com. They will weld the cells and provide leads to your spec so it fits in the Beolink 7000. If you're not comfortable with doing that and soldering the new pack in, Benny can also do that for you.

Elsewhere on this site there is a DYI for replacing the backlight for the screen. I am working with Benny to see if he can do that service as well. If the display itself is bad that might not be repairable, as B&O supplied a replacement module back in the day which is no longer available.

Thank you - I'll contact him... Much appreciated!

This kind of repair is beyond my expertise!
