Last month I bought a Beolink Gateway and have huge fun programming it.

Most of my rooms have Beolink Passives, and my audio master is a BeoSound 5, and I love the cover art that appears when using the app.

 I have created virtual buttons, and macros that control my Sony TV and DVD which are hidden, the TV is behind painting that moves out of the way using a Future Automation Picture Lift.

The TV, DVD and picture lift are controlled by the gateway through a couple Global Cache iTach IP2IR and all work perfectly.

 As I don’t have a B&O television I can’t fathom out how I can use my Beo4 to integrate with the system and control my TV & DVD.

I have tried installing a Beolink Active into the system to receive the TV and DVD commands from the Beo4 remote, and transmit them onto the masterlink, but to no avail, nothing seemed to be captured.

 Has anyone any ideas on how without a BeoVison I can get the TV and DVD commands onto the Masterlink ?

 Super Best,

To access the TV command on your existing setup you would need to purchase a BeoLink Converter. Since you have an audio master already it would allow you to use the TV button to access the line in on the Converter using the TV command. If you are trying to use the Beo4 remote to control your TV, without a Beovision you will need a Lintronic box to do so. The Lintronic box will allow you to fire off Beo4 commands and in turn it will allow you to control your 3rd party equipment once properly configured.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

I use this with a beolink gateway.

It will control all the B&O at the same time it controls the third party panel.

It takes some getting used to but is a pretty nice tool for the arsenal.

Especially in your case with the, what sounds like, really cool lift that hides the TV.

Hi Mjmedlo

I have been using a LinTronic TT455-RT-238 to control my system for about 10 years, using an external receiver, but never thought that I could interface it with my Beolink Gateway.

How have you connected the two together?

sorry. . .beolink converter, not beolink gateway;

the eye can receive both commands at the same time.
