Hi! I currently own fine working Beomaster 3000, and I'm interested of buying Beocord 5000. My most important source of audio is my laptop which is currently connected to tape in RCA in Beomaster. I just found out I can also use Phono 2 RCA connection, that's great.
I would like to be able to record the audio I play on laptop in Beocord 5000 and then later listen the recordings on cassettes. Do these B & O devices work that way together, I would only need connect Beocords DIN wire to Beomasters tape DIN connection? So when using Beomaster in Phono 2 input and listening laptop audio from speakers, Beomaster would send this audio to Beocord for recording? If this doesn't work, how could i record audio from amplifier on Beocord, because Beomaster "audio out" is RCA and Beocord is meant to have only DIN "audio in"?
Thank you so much for your advice. I hope this thing is just something obvious I dont yet know.
If your Laptop plays on Phono 2, you will be able to record with the BC connected to Tape
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Thanks! So do I only need to connect this one DIN-wire between Beomaster and Beocord? I just want to be sure how it works, before buying something.
If your laptop plays on Phono2, YES
Thank you so much for this information, I made order of that Beocord 5000. So now I will have, amplifier, turntable, VHS-recorder and cassette record all B & O
