will an mmc5000 cartridge fit a BeoGram 2402?

Hello Beo people

I have a beogram 2402 record player. The needle on the original mmc20en cartridge is broken.

I have found an mmc5000 cartridge for sale.

Will it fit my stylus and play records OK?

Yes - it will fit and is a very good cartridge - I would say just above the MMC20EN. It is very old though...
