Hi people,

 I've posted a similar question on here regarding this matter and was helped out in respect to checking the MMC4 cartridge I have fitted to see if it was that or the turntable at fault......After turning the cartridge around the dead channel did not move so the cartridge is perfectly fine. 

 I've sussed that the amp/phono stage is all good by swapping the rca plugs about so......

 Now I've tried the continuity test and getting some odd readings.....I get a closed circuit across all cables/pins etc....

I tested the Red+ on the deck to the rca plugs and I'm getting a closed circuit across both rca pins and outers??????

Does anybody have any experience with this or know a possible problem?
