Can anyone help with how to connect a BV6 to a non B&O amplifier please?

I simply want to relay the sound from tv,and dvd via a separate audio system.

I imagine that a Beolink converter kit would do it,but is there a simpler way too?

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks for suggestions, but the headphone jack cuts out the speakers in the tv,and I can't  get any sound out of the scart sockets!

Is it something to do with configuration? Perhaps setting up for recorder in a particular av socket?

Hi Nick,

at my BV 7 and BV 10 (only) one of the scart connections can be used to connect a videorecorder. This scart connection provides sound and video output. If I connect my old camcorder to this scart connection I can record the active source of BV 7/10 with this camcorder (of course without any timer function). I assigned this AV scart connection to VMEM, so I can watch and listen the recordings on my camcorder by pressing VMEM on Beo4.

I never tried to connect an amplifier to this scart connection, but I guess it should work.

Look in your guide for the scary that has the diagram of a VCR attached instead of a set top box

Sometimes B&O manuals contain obscure clues

If the BV6 has 2 scarts I would bet the first is marked as an stb / sat dish and the second as a VCR
