hi I've just got my beosound 1 out of storage and set it back up but since I last used it I've upgraded my beloved Avants to BV7s ( very disappointed that they are HD ready and yet you can't connect them to a HD DVi source) anyhow I've forgotten how to programme the remotes so they know there's more than one B&O in the room.... Can anyone help?

Pray tell, what do you think the 'purpose' of this site is?
It is a 'Forum' for like minded B&O fans and collectors to discuss all things B&O, and for those who are generous enough to contribute financially via the Silver or Gold membership levels to have access to a wealth of user and service manuals (including BV7, BEO4 and BS1) - some, possibly not available anywhere else. Members make a choice as to whether to reply to posts, or help fellow members who have problems or issues with their B&O equipment.
The first reply you received was actually helpful and steered you in the direction you needed to look at. The Option settings for Audio and Video are readily available either from the user manuals for the products you have, via the B&O customer support pages or simply searching yourself online.
You appear to be berating fellow members or this Forum in general for not doing what you can easily do yourself and seem to expect others to invest time and effort in sorting this out for you without you having to put any effort in yourself.
I enjoy tring to help others in difficulty where I can, even though on many occassions replies go unanswered or without thanks or feedback. I suggest that if you really would like some help, please don't insult the site or its members.
There are still many helpful te"ch and non-tech guys giving great advice on this forum - which is exactly one of the purposes of this forum.
I hope you get your BS1 and BV7 working as you want. They are both great pieces.
Dave.

Exactly my reaction, too.
