I have a BeoLink Active that has been working great for a couple of years. Recently the speakers have stopped receiving a signal. They are BeoLab 4, the light on the top stays red. The IR receivers light is on and blinks normally when I adjust the volume with remote.

I powered down the whole system and checked all the connections and eventually got them to come back on... but then a couple days later they began doing the same thing.

Are there any best pest practices / tip for link rooms? What could cause this?

A bug in the ML chain - probably.

Have you checked the junction box(es), if any there.

Just in case anyone else has the same issue I moved the ML cable into a different port in the junction box and it works again.
