Hi everyone,
as the heading says, not quite impressed by the connectivity. Lags/freezes in every song I stream from podcasts/spotify/youtube. I figure it might be my router that isn't powerful enough? Got it from my provider, very basic. Can anyone confirm this? I was thinking that the USB-port in the back could be used to install a bluetooth USB-pen and then stream the music via that?
Is that even a possibility, software-wise etc? What about using a homemade phonojack with a bluetooth transmitter in the other end to stream that way? Get my point? If not, please say so
Thanks in advance,Andreas
To recommend very much I also have. Connection with USB, disappears behind the cover and functions really.

Great, so you plug it in the USB-port and it just transmits from behind the cover, independently from the wi-fi?
Would something like this work too? http://www.bj-trading.dk/bjshop/default.asp?pv=BT0015&pn=Logilink&vare=843734&f=edbp It's only €8 compared to yours.
yes
Thus it does not become fuktionieren. Stream about USB and from the Bluetooth adaptor near the line connection. It can be announced up to 10 devices (springs)

So I guess it is not a bluetooth transmitter the one I linked? Will have to look for alternatives, the Harman Kardon is a bit pricey
The device in your link is a blutooth 'transmitter' for a computer.
What you need is a 'receiver' - like the one mentioned. The output (R/L) is connected to the Aux-input of the A9. This line-input has autosense and is activated, as soon as it receives a signal from the bluetooth 'receiver'.
Sure it is a bit pricy, but for the A9 to have good sound, you will have to invest a bit.
And...compared to the price of the A9 it should not be worth talking about the price of the Harmon device.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Millemissen, thank you for the clearance. My only question is, how is it powered if sits in the AUX-module, via USB? The price is not much compared to A9, agreed, but still.
Hello, this link no longer functions, do you have another link to this product? Is it still available? I can not find anything like it on the HarmanKardon website...
The best solution is to install a Chromecast Audio (if you can find one).
Beovision Eclipse gen2 (GX) w/ floorstand, Beolab 14.2, 4 speaker Shape and ATV4/Chromecast.
Beoplay A9mk4 GVA, Beosound 1 GVA, H2, H3, H8, E6, Beoplay EQ
Hi thanks for answering!
If this Chromeacst is a WiFi system will it not have the same connectivity problems as my Beoplay A9 version 1?
Would Bluetooth version like this be more reliable? Does anyone know if the USB port on the A9 will power this device (5v)

Hi!
I have just bought a Metronic Blueooth receiver (https://www.amazon.fr/Metronic-477040-Mini-R%C3%A9cepteur-Bluetooth/dp/B01LYH3RNN/ref=asc_df_B01LYH3RNN/?tag=googshopfr-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=227988501757&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7412813427945339459&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9056286&hvtargid=pla-464832126223&psc=1). I have successfully appaired it to my phone, but no sound comes out on my Beoplay 1st generation.
Have you found a bluetooth USB receiver that works?
Best
digafarm:might be my router that isn't powerful enough? Got it from my provider, very basic.
for example: UniFy UAP Pro. it will improve your WiFi in general.
Or just run an ethernet cable to the speaker?
Beolit 12 - Beolab 4 pc (dead now) - Beoplay H5 - Beolab 9 - BeoRemote One BT - Beoplay M3
crossbytje:Or just run an ethernet cable to the speaker?
A lot of people don’t even know how to or where to connect that ethernet cable.
Many have their router installed...and it is placed ‘somewhere’ in the house.
Sad facts!
