Hi All,
I recently acquired a Beosound 3 - allegedly in perfect working condition, but it came without a power supply so I haven't been able to test it yet.
I've had a look around the forum and so I know I need 15 Volt/1 Amp supply, but I don't know the polarity nor the dimensions of the connector - both of which which would really help me pinpoint exactly the right supply.
It seems my local electronics store has a 15Volt/1.5Amp Supply for ca. £20 which can be altered to work either +/- , so this seems like a good bet; however they sell three different sizes of connector packs as optional extras, so any info on the connector size would most likely save me a double visit!
Any advice gratefully received...
J
the service manual says the headphone jack is 3.6mm, although my standard 3.5mm headphones plug in just fine. The power connector appears to me to be the exact same size, I'd call it 3.5mm. The outside of the barrel is negative.
good luck,
Bill
Thank you Bill - that is exactly what I was looking for...
Best Regards,
