2 approaches here:

1. I need 8 Din extension cables for my pair of Beolab 8000 approx. 50ft - any recommendations on where to buy? i cant find anything that long on ebay.

2. Is there a cost effective way to make the speakers wirelessly connect to my beomaster 7000 receiver (the B&O connect stuff is cost prohibitive)?

As Jacques has said, Steve at Sounds Heavenly is the Man.  You may also need a Powerlink connector.

In theory, you could try a Bluetooth transmitter from your BM7000 and a receiver at the line in of the BL8000.  I haven't tried it and I don't know how the quality would be.  It would probably be better to daisy chain the BL8000's then.

Dave.

I've tried the Bluetooth thingy. It produces too much noise (hiss) with the Beolabs.

I recommend to buy a (one!) long Powerlink cable, you will only need the thin cable with 3 wires and ground for BL8000, install it to the "first" BL8000

connect an y-cable to the second 8000. One PL cable handles both channels - left and right, so no need to get two long cables.

You can get PL cable from your dealer in black or white and 7 or 8 pin DIN plugs are available from your dealer too or in most electronic stores.

It`s not that difficult to solder - wiring diagram should be on the beotech site.

Thanks guys,

i ordered a 20M cable from Soundsheavenly so i think i should be sorted!

Have any of your guys augmented a Sonos system in the mix? it seems like its still the best/most cost effective multiroom solution.
