disconnected the phone battery and reconnected, now works...

I have a PTSN Beocom 1 system with 4 phones that has been working flawlessly - one phone now has no contact with base - When I unplug and base and plug it back in and get the red light, the phone says registration failed. All of the other phones work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Ian

Is it a battery problem?

I had a base connection problem with a BC6000 which was resolved with a new battery

you could try a battery from one of your working phones

ALSO you could use one of your other phones to deregister the bad phone and reregister it

thanks - yes, the battery was fully charged, but disconnecting it and reinstalling it in the phone worked without having to register the phone again.

Thanks again!
