CX100. Year of manufacture?

Hi, I see the CX100 speakers were manufactured from 1984 to 2003, which is a long time. Is it possible to tell which year they were manufactured? Would the serial number ascertain this information, and if so, how could I equate the year with the number?

09 is 1994 and each number onwards is broadly each year - though some do cross over two years. So you should be able to work it out from the first two numbers of the serial number. That's according to a previous thread on serial numbers but sometimes these things don't always work out!
