Dear all,

I would like to ask how I can acces the auxiliary input at the back of the Beovision AV9000 with the Beo4 remote?

Now I have my laptop connected to the av1-vtape scart socket, but sound isn't great (I have 2 BL6000 connected to the AV9000)

Thanks in advance!!! (pic attached)

ps. I don't want to change the tv since I think its the most beautiful one ever built!

Welcome to Beoworld.

Connect your laptop to the AV inputs - L, R and Video in.

On the BEO4, press 'V-Tape' and then 'MENU'.

Press '5' to select the item 'V-Tape Menu'.

Press '5' again to select 'Auxilliary'.

Press 'GO' (centre round button) to accept.

It should now be available.  That's directly from the user manual/BEO4 set-up guide for the AV9000.  Available on Beoworld for Silver and Gold members.

Dave.

Hi all.

I did not see answer if it was working well so I ask the same question after trying to found answer but no success.

So I would like to connect my ipad3 on my av9000 composite sockets, same has above.

There is the apple cable from iPad to composite does it works fine on the av9000 and mainly is that procedure is valid for the same ?

thanks

Franck

Why wont you use the AV2 SCART on the AV9000 Monitor?

To do this I use a Scart-Composite Adapter.

I select the AV2 on my Beolink1000 by using SHIFT-VIDEO

Thanks Gerard for your proposal that could be an alternative.

I could do that but both SCART are already used, AV1 by default for the VCR and AV2 by DVD1.

I would prefer not plug unplug each time one of the SCART and keeping the composite pluged on the av9000 and simply connect at the other end my iPad.

One more thing. I have beo4 but I do not know what do you mean by SHIFT, that I could read either beolink1000 or beo4 ?

By the way doing VTape menu then select auxiliary input switch from the VTape blue screen to a black screen, seems waiting for input signals.

I order the adaptor cable and will post good or bad results for other people who might need it.

Are you sure your ipad is sending a signal to the composite cable?

My iphone is jailbroken and sending the signal with a special app works.

Unbroken, I don't know.

For the "SHIFT" "VIDEO" on Beo4 you might try the "DVD2" button or ADD the the "SHIFT" into the list.

Hi and thanks Gerard

I connected and used auxiliary input on av9000 but the only things

I can see are photos and video from the Photos app from iOS .

I switched to YouTube and the image disappeared, only the sound is working properly.

Do you know if possible to see any apps from iOS to the TV. I know this post becomes an iPad one I will stop here.

thanks

Franck

Movies from iTunes Store are displayed very well and sound is amazing.

So at the end to me this cable does the job even if I would like to see also YouTube but quality and no advertising break is best for me with iTunes even if I have to pay few euros to rent.
