As some of you will know, I tend to buy quite a bit of B&O both old and new.  Obviously, I use Lifestyle AV (not exclusively and I also use other resellers) whenever they have something that piques my interest.  My latest addition was a pair of BL4's.

Last wednesday, I received 2 boxes from Lifestyle AV, one with the BL4's but what was the secoond? Puzzled, I opened the smallest box to discover it full of B&O goodies and a really nice note from Lee - some items quite rare and from his own personal collection -bottle stopper, cap, tie pin, bags, book mark (I think), ICE power amp, golf shoe bag, lighter, reduced range dealers demo BL1000  and a very rare dealers metal plaque with handprint.

I phoned Lee to thank him for his generosity and just wanted to publicly restate my thanks and appreciation.  It was a wonderful gesture from one B&O fanatic to another. This is also reflected in his support for this site and the prize draw.

Thanks again to Lee, Matt and everyone who works there.

Dave.

That's fantastic. Lee is a lovely bloke.

He kindly sent me a pair of tweeters for my Pentas when I managed to somehow blow mine.

I love this community!!!

great story Dave.

also their website is just so clear and easy to navigate (am surprised how many used HiFi companies get this so wrong and it ends up a nightmare trawling)

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Lee is always generous and thoughtful. He rescued Beoworld from a fairly dark place and we all have him to thank for its continuing existence. We and B&O are very lucky to have him.

I certainly wish there was a Lifestyle AV Stateside. I remember once a long long time ago, there were a pair of Beolab 1 speakers US spec listed on his site. Since then, I go on from time to time to see if they have something US spec. lol Wishful thinking. As I'd give that establishment business over eBay and the like.

Great Story!

Same here, it'd be wonderful to have a seller on this side of the pond like Lifestyle and Peter. Then again, I'd probably be even more up to my eyeballs in Beogear!Surprise

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

I have to point out that I rarely sell anything and am in no way affiliated to Lifestyle - thought I do have a polo shirt! Big Smile You mean Lee!

But thanks for the thought!
