Hi there!
One og my family members have a 7-32 MK3, but because of hes bad hearing, he now bought a couple of rather high tech hearing aids.
The problem is, that when he connects the wireless box that comes with them to the headphone output, the speakers mute. Since his wife still needs the sound from the speakers, that doesn't work for them.
Is there some kind of work around, so they can each listen to separate volumes ?? -I have tried connected the box to the center speaker output not in use, but at a normal TV volume, the signal is way to weak.
Also tried connecting the box to the front speaker output, but then they will have choose who is gonna listen (speaker 1 and speaker 2 mode). It would be ideal if speaker mode 3 could output the center signal through both center and front output, but that doesn't seem to be possible either??
Hope this all makes sense and hopefully someone have that one magic solution 😊

Hi,
you can try a scart connector with audi out connectors. This scart plug goes into AV1-3. Then you have to assign a Non B&O Videorecorder connected.
This should give you a line level audio supply for the wireless basestation of the hearing aid. The volume has to be contolled at the hearing aid.
The sound will always be to be heard and is independant from the volume setting of the speakers and the speaker selction.
A possible solution is this universal scart plug adaptor from ebay:
The seller is not me!
This adaptor is universally usable because you can switch it from input to output which is what you need for this purpose.
Hope this helps.

Wow, thanks for the fast reply !
Now that you mention it, there were actually some scart adaptor included in he's hearing aid set.
But if I try that solution, does the sound from DTV, DVD etc. appear in the chosen scart? And it doesn't matter if it is AV 1, 2 or 3 ?
Thank you
i think AV1 is a bit special in so far that it supports a B&O Videorecorder, the other two don't if i rember correctly.
You will get sound also from DVD, DTV or something else if the device is also connected analog with SCART, CINCH (=RCA). There exist also scart plugs with six RCA connectors for Video In and Out and Audio In and Out. This might be helpful if the DVD for example is connected to the TV with three RCA cables.
I once took a WII SCART cable and added an AUDIO Out connection. The used SCART Connection at the TV was assigned to V.AUX. This worked like a charm, every input at the BV 8-32 was routed also to the AV1 connection and the AUDIO Out was connected to a Sennheider TR4200 (Wireless RF Transmitter). The fixed output level was fully sufficient for the Sennheiser RR4200 which had it's own volume control.
Another thing you could try - I know in later software on the some of the Beovisions (certainly on the BV8 and the BV10, but I'm not sure if this was ever implemented on the BV7) there was an option in the Customer service menu -> Adjustments -> HP Output, which could be changed from normal to either fixed (fixed volume output on headphone socket) or follow TV (volume output of headphone socket follows that of the main TV volume, rather than being independent of the speaker volume).
As i say, I'm not sure if this option is available on the BV7 but would be worth a look.
Kind Regards,
Martin.
PS. To access the 'hidden' customer service menu, press MENU, highlight OPTIONS, then press RED then GO.
Thank you very much for your response!
The scart-solution works like i charm and give them excactly the feature they wished for: Independent volume control for the hearing aids.
I was afraid that the line-out signal level were too low, but no, it is spot on.
Thanks again, and have a great day out there
