Dear members,

I have a Beocenter 1 with Masterlink. Is it reasonable to link a Beosound 9000 to it? If the Beocenter 1 would be in Option 2 and the Beosound 9000 in Option 0 (speakers connected to the DDS module in the Beocenter) this would probably mean that radio would be played through the Beosound 9000, whereas listeing to a CD in the Beocenter 1 would still be possible pressing DVD. Is this correct?

Cheers,

Kai

Hi Kai,

this should work flawlessly because the CD in the DVD player is just a 'special' content which is played by the DVD device.

There's just one point to keep an eye on during the configuration of the BC1: You should set the item 'LINKED RADIO' to 'ON' so the radio of the BS9000 gets used.

Thanks very much. That sounds perfect. I've now tried it and the Beocenter 1 doesn't seem to react to remote commands when in Option 2. Neither does the Beosound 9000 when in Option 0. Any ideas? Greetings, Kai

Just for anybody interested in this old stuff. Works perfectly after disconnecting masterlink and reprogramming the Beocenter 1 to Option 6. Greetings, Kai
