I am considering to buy 3D glasses for my BV7 (don't have any yet and never used the 3D function).

There appears to be very limited information online about the different models of 3D glasses. It appears that there are some with rechargeable batteries and one without? Also, different ones for BV and Avant?

Any insights on the different glasses and how to spot the differences?

Only buy the official B&O glasses as the generic ones are not guaranteed to be optimized for use on Beovisions. That's even what the generic manufacturers have told me.

Lifestyle AV have three for sale on their eBay page: 221887820267 is the item number if you search on eBay.

Thanks. Is there just one official pair?

I think there are two slightly different ones. Ask Lee and Matt at Lifestyle AV. It's not worth risking ones that aren't optimized. The official ones are very good.

Let me send them a note over ebay. I am not considering non-B&O ones, but want to make sure to get the right mode (battery vs rechargeable? BV vs. Avant?).

Maybe better to phone them. They open at 09.30am. It's easier over the phone rather than protracted messages. They are really helpful.
