Hello all,

I'm just new to this forum and I would like to introduce myself briefly. I'm located in Northern Germany upnorth from Hamburg about 50kms away. Roundabout 40 years old and since 25 years more or less into hifi, mostly diy (speakers (as most young men) and tubeamps).

I came to this forum for my interest in turntables. Not that I am very much familiar with B&O players, this is my first one,  but on the hunt for vintage Duals, I came across this beautiful recordplayer in last may.

Unfortunately it has some I hope minor disfunctions.

First, the asembly of the coverhinge is missing.

I found this post for some helpful information:

http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/4135.aspx?PageIndex=11

In theory I now know how it should work but as mentioned the parts are missing: The spring and other parts you can see on the pics atteched to the post above.

Here are some pics of the situation with no spring and no other assembly parts

What is best to do. Do I get spare parts fpr this hinge assembly somewhere? Any ideas are welcome.

Thank you.

Alex
