When I put a record on the platter some of the records scrape the record player because I think the platter is a little low. Is there a way to readjust this so the platter is above the edge of the player? I noticed that the  Suspension is very sensitive. I believe that if adjusted only a 1/6th of an inch up would do it.

If you look at the picture I provided you will see the platter is almost flush with the turntable making some records scrape the turntable. I believe there is a way to adjust this so it is raised just a hair.

There is a Repair manual on site for silver and gold members, it includes a description of the procedure.

I'm not a silver or gold member so that does not help at all. Any one else have a fix for this?

Yeah, I think Soren was subtly suggesting you upgrade your membership.  Lift the platter off, find the 3 leaf springs, and bend them.  The procedure is as crude in execution as it sounds.  Trial and error.  Lots of trial and error.
