Good afternoon all
i have a BV7-40(3D) in my main room, connected is sky, this is materlinked to a BV7-32 upstairs, all works fine, but the connection is obviously via RF over standard coax.
i would like to, if possible, put an HDMI splitter on the back of the sky box and connect it upstairs as its only a few metres, so as to use the HDMI on the 7-32
my worry is controlling the tv, as its not using the RF input, I am not sure how it work and keep the main set "off"
or.....is there another output on the 7-40 I could use? Projector? Is this HD ?
any thoughts ? The RF signal is fine, but it's not using the tv to its best? The 7-40 also has a blue ray and can this be sent to the 7-32 in HD ?
many thanks
Andy
I checked out and tested this:
google it, you'll find reviews. It did work for me to send an very good image and control my kaleidescape cinema one downstairs unfortunately my daughters playden for which it was intended is on different electrical wiring then downstair so I had to send it back. The same problem exists as with any powerlan system. Now i'm looking at a hdmi over ethernet system but did,nt took the time to,order and test.
