greetings all,

acquired a lovely condition Beomaster 1900-2 which shows some problems:

first half the light bulbs don't work anymore - is there a complete set available ? (Martin perhaps ?)

the not so easy problem is the left (or right?) speaker channel on both speaker pair outputs is missing or dead ?

by going through the Test Points as per SM I am not quite clear whether to have the Beomaster in stand-by or source mode in order to verify the test voltages ?

using a set of headphones seem to deliver both channels but I can hardly hear any difference between stereo or mono ??

headphones should highlight that much more prominent I thought ?!

at first I suspected the LS pair selector switch but can not confirm any mal functioning.

any further ideas to solve that problem are most welcome

cheers ALF

Martin does stock the bulbs. First things first!

Forgive a perhaps silly question, but by looking at the balance slider should there not be 2 tracks in reference to R200 and R300 ?

Click on the picture link, i can not upload it in smaller size -sorry.

And yes,?I emailed Martin about the bulbs

Cheers, ALF

Just ignore the question - yes, silly but tricky to see as the second track is hiding underneath the silver top cover
