B & O kicked out of London's financial district

B & O has long struggled to lure customers into the so-called mono-brand stores, as well as internally in the B & O is called B1-stores, and now the Danish electronics giant encountered a new challenge.

Since August, Bang & Olufsen been denied access to one of their stores in the fashionable London's financial district, since the store's owner, City Home Tech Ltd., which for many years has been a franchisee for B & O, supposedly could not pay the rent on time.

The so-called B1-stores, selling only the fine B & O products are often almost deserted, which the landlord Danny Stone from property company Land Securities, took advantage of the night of August 1, where he unlabelled had changed the lock to the store near the St. Paul's Cathedral, the newspaper said.

The B & O's annual accounts for 2014/2015, it appears that the company opened 78 stores, while closed 88th

- It is a picture of the challenge of B & O, where the development of special TV goes incredibly strong today. It becomes harder and harder to have a constantly updated product portfolio, and it makes it harder to attract new customers, and it suffers from B & O stores during says Lars Topholm, head of equity research at Carnegie, Berlingske Business.
