Is there any changelog for the Software Updates? Just updated to 9.0.9 but would love to know what changed in 9.0.8, 9.0.7 and so on.

Hi,

i just bought the h7.

When i listen via bluetooth i have white noise in the background.

When muting the music you can clearly hear it.

Is this per design or production failure?

I have H7 and use it quite frequently - there is absolutely no noise neither during playback nor when pausing.

For me it depends from the source. If it's wired or wireless with an iOS device I have no white noise. If I use a BT converter (to use the H7 wirelessly with my BV10) I also experience noise at low volume or mute scenes.

I bought last week a so called 2nd gen H7 from amazon uk and I confirm the ticking and sometimes popping from the left ear pad. Also tested it with an ipad mini and an s7 edge, both devices had the noises. Bluetooth connection is often lost between the beoplay app and the H7 no matter what you do. For example you listen to music and you receive a call? Beoplay app loses the h7 and cant get back to it even after the phone call is over. Moreover, if you use poweramp (android music player) then you cant use beoplay app for long and therefore you cant change equaliser settings. Music sounds really great although sometimes bass gets mouth full; for example in Mothers talk (tears for fears) it seems that it cant handle the sequence of the rich drums over the 2':30'' and on. It is clearer heard over (even cheaper) other headphones. Already returned the set and expecting a replacement this Thursday. Great amazon experience, poor B&O experience up to now. Btw, is there truly a 2nd gen of h7?

They introduced Bluetooth 4.2 (from software v9.0.9). The type #6430was launched October 2015, followed by type #6439 in July 2016. The only discontinued version is the 6430 cocoa brown (discontinued Oct 2016). A new set with ANC will be introduced next week, Nov 17th, as most of you know.

Any update on this? If a H7 with ANC is coming that would be exactly what I have been waiting for!

@rambosambo: B&O did not meet the milestone set for the Nov 17th launch, which has been pushed back to Dec 1st. To my knowledge very few dealers will have the demo units in store by Dec 1st, and to make matter worse very few sets will be received this side of new year's. Contact your local dealer and reserve a set NOW if this is exactly what you have been waiting for (I believe most dealers will receive <5 sets in 2016).
