beogram 3000 cueing adjustment

does anyone know how to adjust the cueing position on a beogram 3000 type 52xx , the needle drops 10mm short of the record surface i am not sure how this is adjusted i have read the service manuals but it does not seem to mention an adjustment :?  ,any input would be usefull thanks

There are several variants of the BG3000 and they all start 52xx.  I'm guessing that you mean the type 5228.  If not, please give the full type number to prevent any confusion.

It's in section 6-4 of the service manual under 'Pickup arm, Downstroke'.  It's quite clear if you follow the instructions.
