How to attach Beosound 1 to floor stand

Hi folks,

I have a Beosound 1 and its matching floor stand. I appear to have all the screws described in the floor stand manual on the Beoworld site. How do I attach the Beosound to the stand? Does it simply rest upon the 4 protruding lugs? I'm afraid of it being knocked off the stand by a simple backward or forward push.

Mine just sits on the stand.
