So far I was using my system (BV7 / BL7.4 / BL2 / BL1) mainly with Speaker 1-5. I have not really dived into the possibility of AST that is made possible with Beo 5/6.

Does anyone have day to day experiences with AST ? Is it worthwile to set it up ?

I would also know about experiences with AST. I have BV 7 with Beolab 10, BL 1 as front and BL 6000 as rear speakers.

I didn't try AST yet because I use a Beo 4, but my dealer told me AST would also work with Beo 4. Is this correct?

I have set up the AST on my BV7-55 with 7-4 center, 9 fronts, 4000 rears. There is a definite difference in sound and it is somewhat fun to experiment with, however I do not use it. However, my room is such that speaker placement is such that the benefits of AST to correct for improper speaker placement are very minimal, if any.

Looks like I am booked for a major measuring session at home to feed geometry data into AST !   Thank you Razlaw for your valuable comments.
