Suitable Beovision for use as computer monitor?? (BV8-32?)

Looks great and the sound will definitely be good.

It seems a bit far away from your seating position.

Is that ok for working - the panel of the 8-32 isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

It is farther away than a usual monitor would sit, but I think that helps a little considering the BV8 is at a disadvantage in the resolution department. It seems to be just fine for me though. 

I do everything from email and the usual stuff to CAD and [some] PCB layouts. 

Forgot to mention the BV8 makes for a great conference speaker as well.

Sounds good - could be a good idea - you can get the 8-32 real cheap nowadays.

Yes, they are a great deal. I'm thinking about picking up another just to keep around for spares or if I need to set up another desk somewhere else etc.

The green and white thing is a phone charging pad from Ikea.
