I have a passion for creating the true sound of different periods of time.
Since 1960 is the start of stereo for Bang & Olufsen I would really like to be able to listen to music exactly like the customers did in 1960.
So far I have found these products:
B&O Stereoforstærker 911H58 (the little stereo amplifier with the black front)
B&O turntable PE606 with SP2 MK1 (Perpetum Ebler deck with B&O tonearm and cartridge)
B&O loudspeaker ST606
And this is my problem I don't have more than one of these speakers .
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I am really looking for one more. I hope to find it to complete the stereo system of 1960
If you own the ST606 - please send me a PM and I will be very happy.

Hi Frede,
Few months ago there was an advert on DBA.dk with a rare version of Grand Prix radio and one speaker which was very like as this ST606 you are looking for, only without the stand. I saved a picture of it, here it is:
Maybe you could try to find it on the DBA webpage, eventually it is still there. I looked but did not find it...
Regards
Vintage Bang & Olufsen
The one pictured next to the Grand Prix is a ST GP 606.It's a smaller type, only about half the size of the ST606 Frede is looking for.Rare none-the-less.A model ST GP 607 was also made, it was very similar to ST GP 606.
For comparison, you can see both the ST 606 and the ST GP 606 types together here:

Fascinating project, and I wish you well with it. I have a good friend who in addition to being a professional recordist and who specializes in both remixing to digital and in field recordings of folk music, also shares your opinion about having appropriate era sounding audio systems for different eras of music. He says it helps him get a better feel for how the music sounded in the era, which helps inform some of his remixes. So, he has something for the 20s-30s, 40s-50s, 60s, etc. He has some interesting systems, in fact I'm starting to move in that direction as I have an old 1950s Karlson speaker cabinet, and a pair of 1960s era Grundig table radios I'm refurbishing.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
