Ok, I feel really stupid asking as question like this, but how do you get the cover of the tone control section from a beomaster 2200 off?

I cannot find any screws or clicky things. I tried by removing the complete bottom but that the board under there is screwed to the bottom and soldererd to the RF section that will not come out that way. I think I can see that the volume control board being screwed down from the top, but how the get the cover off?

No screws, it lifts right up and off.
Insert your fingernails at the sides (at the right side where the little black cable goes in) and wiggle it up.

Hi Martin,

I spend an hour wiggling that cover before I wrote this post. But at your suggestion I tried again and nothing. I then inserted a screwdriver just above where the black wire comes in and it finally popped off. So yes wiggling worksSmile, but it does have two hooks at the bottom that hold it down. You can see them in the picture. Next time I will use a screwdriver on those, lest I break something.

Thanks for you quick reply and confirming I was not missing any screws!

Nice how all that dust shows when using the camera flash...
