If you knew then what you know now - would you have bought a Moment?

Yes.  It's certainly got it's quirks but it's getting better everyday and now it's an important part of the family instead of just a neat curiosity as it began a few weeks ago.

I waited until now to buy one because of what I knew then - since the moment was released. It's perfect.

Yes defenitly... I like the design, I like the sound coming from it, I like the Deezer and radio integration...

But there is still a lot of work on it to become more user friendly as a whole, the Beomusic app. per example. I'm waiting for: random play for DLNA playlists, bigger albums overview and tracks overview, etc... Please B&O rewrite the app. I'm getting so tired of using that small user menu in the app.

A fine example in a way I would like to see it is, the Audirvana+ remote..

Yes I would have bought it. Nothing is prefect in the beginning when it is software related in my opinion, look how Apple started when they transitioned to OS X and even with the iPhone back in 2007.

This platform has all in it to be the next big thing on Audio for Bang & Olufsen. Think in a couple of years the Moment will be Iconic as the BeoSound 9000 for example

Erwin,

Thank you for your well considered response which has truly intrigued me.

I have often wondered why so many B&O fans (including myself) are willing to cut B&O so much slack!

I actually do worry a bit that this encourages B&O to rush things to market which are not fully baked.

The Moment is not a cheap trinket. It is supposed to be cutting edge produced by the world leader n luxury audio/video.

Would it not be reasonable to expect that this product works exactly as advertised and actually should exceed expectations.

Should one it expect an iconic product today

This is a little bit like Ferrari asking its customers to Beta test it's new 488.
