I have bought old beovox S30 boxes to connect them to my grammophone plyer (LP) together with old Denon amplifier. Since B&O uses its own connectors have can I connect them to my Denon ?

Thanks for help,

Zoran

Welcome to Beoworld !

Please don't mix things up:
B&O used DIN speaker plugs/sockets.
They are the only standard plugs/sockets for home stereo speakers in the world.
Everything else is non-standard.

If your amplifier has non-standard speaker connections, you can make adapters, f.e. from
bare wire to DIN female.

Martin is right: I have seen many, oh so many manufacturers use these DIN plugs and sockets. They are not by any means proprietary to the B&O brand!

Practically any European manufacturer you can think of once used them, truth be told... Dare I say Philips? Stick out tongue

And believe me, unlike RCA and what-have-you these have proven extremely reliable!

Hi Zoran,

Welcome to the Beoworld.

You need the 2 pol DIN plugs at the amplifier side. Something like this (if the amp has this type of connections):

At the speaker side you need the 2 pol DIN sockets. Something like this:

You can buy both type of plugs/sockets in every electronic shop e.g Conrad...

It is very easy to mount them to the speaker cables. Either you has to screw or to solder the wires on.

If you have further questions please ask.
