Today marks the 4th anniversary of the David Lewis's passing. Do you think B&O and the David Lewis design team have produced products that would make the master proud?

What would David be doing different and would he insist on a 90th anniversary high end turntable and pre amp to use with the BeoLab 90?

The first question I can't answer - probably noone can.

The second: why?

For the few owners of the BL90's, who wants to play vinyls, there are still plenty of nice BeoGrams out there.

The BL90 already has it's own preamp built-in and/or will work fine with a (newer) BV or BS.

I think if David had still been alive, we would of seen a totally different direction in terms of design compared to todays range.

Secondly, I don't know the demographic of who can or even would spend 52K£ on a pair of speakers. If its young footballer and rich in Dubai, then sadly the chances are, they may be sending MP4 files directly from their iPhones to the speakers, so no, a turntable may not be required.

I think he would have liked the revamp of some of the old speakers(17/18/20), and the new Beolab 20. The new Beovisions in the Avant range I believe he would have thought very ordinary, and a rather lazy design.

I'm not sure about the Moments interface, but I think he would have liked it's overall cosmetic structure and the touch controls.

The H8s I think would have appealed. Beautiful sound, beautifully made and very simple to operate the great technology.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
