hi, I am planning to install BeoVox 2-2 speakers in two rooms in the ceiling. I heard that there is a cabinet for installing the speakers as an additional accessory. The installation guide that comes with the speakers does not mention that though.

Is there a problem with installing the speakers as they come without buying the installation cabinet or do I need this? The manual also says that sound quality improves with more room (and we have very high ceilings so that there would be a lot of open space above the speakers).

Kind regards, Alex

Hi Alex,

I think the sound is improved with these boxes.  If they are the same ones, Lifestyle AV had some for sale recently.  They my still have them.  Check their website under the 'Grab a bargain' tab, or contact them directly be email or phone.  They may be able to help.

Dave.

We recently installed a pair of Vox 2.2 speakers in a ceiling void without additional boxes and they sounded excellent.
