This has probably been discussed before here but since I was a BEO-virgin until tree days ago I hope I'm excused
So as the headline states: With setup will give you the best BeO-experience for your money?
THANX A BUNCH!!

If you are willing to go for a second hand piece, I would say Beolab 4000. They are cheep, good sounding and fabuluos :)
Paired togheter with a new Essence you get a modern system for a really good price :)
Hi!
Thanks for your response! Great idea!
I just bought a beosystem 4500 and Beovox Penta. I didn't know about the Essence system. It's really sweet looking and discrete.. But i love the design of the older systems (1980-2000)... Was thinking about geting the BeoLab Penta. Could be great to combine with Essence for streaming?
For streaming only you can add a bluetooth dongle (google chromecast) and / or an airport express to the Beosystem 4500.
Value for money:
Just add an Essence (without the 'wheely') to your BSys4500.
If you don't use the Beocord, simply connect it to the A.Tape input.
If you use it - you'll need a switch for connecting both.
Push A.Tape (/A.Mem) and control the Essence with the BeoRemote app - or simply stream via AirPlay or bluetooth to it.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Some great suggestions so far, let me add a couple more:-
The Beosound 9000 is an iconic design so for that reason alone the list would not be complete without it.
The Beosound Ouverture is excellent value for money these days with fully working examples often selling for between £100 and £150.
Martin.
Thanks!I think the beolab 9 is a bit pricey for me, just entering the bro world and all :-) And I really like the late 80 to early 00 styling. To get some perspective on the prices in Sweden:
Beocenter 9500 480 euroBC 9300 300 euroBC 9000 270 euro
Chris Townsend:A 32 inch Beovision Avant RF can now be had for around £50. A tv which essentially contains Beolab 4000's.
As far as I remember from specs/reading about them/listening to them the speakers of the old Avant are roughly the same as the BeoLab 2500.
Still a long way to go for being equal to the BL4000's.
