hi everyone, I have a bang and olufsen cd 50 cd player. It plays well but the audio output from the left and right phono jacks in very low! the only way I can hear audio is by connecting the cd player to the phono input at moving coil setting which is very inconvient! Can anyone here help as to what is causing the low audio output from the phono output jacks at the back of it, Thanks! Sikander
You can't connect the cd player via the phono input. You must use the cd input or the tape input. The phono input has completely different levels. Won't work.
Hi Ben, The audio output from the left right small round rca phono output jacks is so low that when I connect this output to the cd or tape input of adcom pre-amplifier I can hardly hear any sound but when i connect it to the phono input of adcom pre-amp I can hear audio albeit very low! as you know a phono input has more amplifiication and the line level cd or tape input. The cd player otherwise works well it show the tracks, plays the tracks and time remaining but as mentioned the audio coming out from the output jacks at the back of is very low so low that when connected to the cd input or tape input of my pre-amp I dont hear any audio, other brand cd player connected to the cd input has no problem playing the at loud volumes so its not my adcom pre-amp something is causing low output from the bang and olufsen cd 50 player. Any Help from any knowledgeable person who had the same problem and how he fixed it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sikander
