Hello,

I am a french owner of Beosystem 2500 (1991/1992). The Cd module MK1 does not work any more. I am looking for a CD part replacement.

Thank you for your best advice.

Best regards.

You can use Philips CDM 4 with some modifications.

Thank you for your help.

What do you mean by "some modifications"? Do you think that a specialist can do the replacement with a Philips CDM 4 ?

If you have more details about this possibility, please send me details as docs, links...

With these details i will contact a french workshop.

Regards.

find online old still operating Philips CD player  with CDM 4/19 ...and just replace the laser head from Philips cd to your CDM 4/38..that is it :)

End of story :)
