We have recently changed telephone company and when we have switched over our phones will not work.

I have unregistered and reregistered the 2 handsets. I then reset the base and again re-registered the handsets. We can get incoming calls but when we ring any number at all it always calls our telephone suppliers help line??

I have tried a single plug in phone to the line and it works fine but when I plug our 6000 back in it says number not recognised or it calls our supplier?? Can anyone advise me what is happening please. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you

Hi, I am not sure what that is ? Can you just explain what I have to do and then I can give it a go?

Thanks

David

Hi David,

please look at page 42 of the userguide (in german: 'Flashzeit ... Wählen Sie Lang, Kurz oder Individuell. Die richtige Flashzeit hängt davon ab, wie Sie Ihr Telefon angeschlossen haben.').

Hope this helps.

Hi,

thank you. I have changed the flash time from short to long and no change. I have changed it back to short and still the same results. It just calls my phone providers help line.

Do you have any other ideas?

Kind regards

At least it calls the help line of the provider - what did they say to your problem?

Hi, they said they will send out a BT engineer. The problem is that a normal plug in phone is working so they will then want to charge me as the fault is not on the line. They will be charging for something I already know?? Really strange.

I read that when you do a reset on the base it wipes all of your contacts etc but it did not do that when I did it. It just disconnected the base and I had to reconnect my handsets but they kept all of their information? Do you think maybe I have not done something correct here?
