Hello Beoworlders,

I'm thinking of buying a Moment and my dealer could not answer to this situation.

I am mainly an album listener.

On my NAS, I have albums in hi-resolution FLAC.

To enjoy them on the go, they are also present in my Deezer album list.

When playing them at home, how to select the Hi-Res files from the NAS and not the Deezer stream?

What are the priorities set in the Moment's software in this situation?

Thanks for your feedback,

Yann.

Good question!

If you let the Jukebox MoodWheel doing the job, I have no clue

If you search the Jukebox by artist you will see two icons for the same artist, one by source. If you have the same tracks in both sources, hard to say which icon is Deezer or you own collection. I have suggested B&O to mark the Deezer artist picture with a Deezer logo for example to differentiate with the DLNA artist.

The only way to make sure you play the source you want is to control your source from your phone or tablet application

Cheers

Yes in the beomusic app you have the deezer and music(nas) folder.

The beomusic app is much better than the jukebox to control the moment...

Thank you for these answers.

The aim was precisely to get rid of the iPad and use the jukebox.

In this case, I wonder what's the added value of the Moment vs the Mk1 Playmaker + iPad setup I use today.

Kind regards,

Yann.

If you can hear the difference, you will know which one is NAS and which one is Deezer.

If you can't, it won't matter - or?

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Hi Yann,

as dueno wrote, on the jukebox you will find under artists, artist-tiles with pictures from your NAS & your Deezer - collection. Therefore you can 'profit' from a 'bug' in the UI on the jukebox. For example, if you have the artist 'Amy Grant' in Deezer and your NAS, you will see (in the best case) 2 different artist-tiles from Amy Grant. Behind the first Amy Grant-tile, you will find with your NAS-content, behind the second Amy Grant-tile - there is your deezer-content.

In some cases the artist-tiles are empty and showing no pictures, because some artists don't support gracenote, deezer, spotify or don't want to have their pictures flying around.

Cheers Beroli

Thanks Dueno and Beroli for these useful informations.

The difference is noticeble on my BL5 but I prefer your solution.

It will also avoid to re-tag my files with a sign in the artist name in order to identify the NAS source.

Kind regards,

Yann.
