I bought a faulty Beosound 9000 MkII and have re-attached the glass lid and replaced the CD laser. The system now functions as expected except that discs 4, 5, and 6 rub when playing, more so with disc 6. Is there some adjustment of the height of the CD sled, I have the manual but cant find what I am looking for

Thanks

Stuart

I believe there is a part that needs bending back into shape to fix this... You'll have to do a search of the forums as I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, assuming you have already checked the suspension position settings on the rear of the BS9000 are set correctly for how your BS9000 is mounted then Lee is correct, it will more than likely be the rocker arm is slightly bent. You can either replace it or take it out and try to straighten it.

See this thread for details:

Kind Regards,

Martin.

I've recently ordered a replacement for my BS9000 so just in case you end up doing the same, the part number for the rocker arm has changed to 2854133 (it is shown as 2854196 in the service manuals). Any dealer should be able to find this from the original part number though as the two are linked on their ordering system.

Kind Regards,

Martin.
