Hello,
The Essence remote control exists in 2 versions.
Which one is delivered with the product?
BTW, what is the "official" RPP ?
Kind regards,

The BeoSound Essence (2nd gen.)/MKII comes without the remote (i.e. only the hide-away box). Then you can choose either version of the remote (wall mounted or table variant), which suits you.
(the BeoSound Essence 1st gen./MKI was coming by default bundled with the wall mounted remote)
...or you could choose to connect an ir-eye to it - and remote control it with a BeoRemote One (or Beo4).

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes indeed, or even just use your smartphone / ipad and forget about other remotes all together (which is I guess is one of the reasons for not bundling it with a remote any more).

My reason for getting the Essence was to have the "wheel".
The MK1 comes with the wall mounted wheel. But you can choose the table mounted for no extra cost. at least in the begining you could choose. And the table model can be wall mounted, only difference is that it does not have the Bang&olufsen logo.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Thanks for your advices.
