H Guys

Sorry if this is a daft question, but I have already managed to get 2 PVR's set up on my BV3 32", one uses the DVD button on the remote to see the Panny DVD Recorder, and the other uses the DTV (Via the AV Scart) to access the Hummy PVR, now I would like to add a third one tot he mix and I thought I could use the Decoder Scart, how do I switch tot he source from the remote and what setting should the Connections have on the Remote?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers

Don't you have three selections, V.Tape, AV and Decoder? On my Avant I can select those three and I guess you should be able to put a PVR on the V.Tape port also?

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

Yes I have 3 Sacrt connectoons on the rear of the TV:

AV

V.Tape

Decoder

I can select different options on the TV Set Up Menu, Connections as follows:

V.Tape which I have set to DVD (This shows the DVD recorder when I press the DVD button on the remote. This Scart is in V.TAPE on the back of the TV)

AV which I have set to STB (SAT) (This shows the Hummy PVR when I press DTV on the remote, Scart is AV on the Back of the TV.)

And Decoder is set currently to None.

My question really is, what setting should the Decoder menu item be set to on the Set Up menu on screen?

And Secondly which button does this connection relate to ont he remote, I would like to either use V.MEM or A.MEM as they are not used?

I have just worked it out!

All I needed to do was to add V.AUX to my Beo4 remote, and then set Decoder to V.AUX.

When I then press list and select V.AUX by pressing GO it shows the device connected to the DECODER Scart!

Phew!  No I simply need to work out which way to daisy chain the aerial signal and whooppee I have the ability to record up to 7 channels if I required it!

Happy for you that it works =) However I think you can use the regular buttons on top of the beo4 to control all the sources of BV3. Depending on which Beo4-model you have it will probably have TV, DTV, DVD, V.MEM, or TV,SAT,AV,V.TAPE. or something like that, try them out =)
