We have had this TV for 4 years or so it had worked ok but not used it for 2 years. Tried to set up yesterday and could not get it to work tried an indoor arial and a main arial the result is the same a fuzzy picture
We have the code but not able to enter this via the remote
Any suggestions would be appreciated
After a prolonged mains disconnection the PIN request page should appear when you first turn the TV on using the 'TV' analogue button. Then switch to your STB using the DTV button.
Plugging an aerial direct into the TV will not achieve anything since the analogue to digital switch.
if you are unsuccessful with the PIN more than 3 times the TV will go into WAIT mode, allowing you to try again only after leaving it connected to the mains for possibly 5 hours or overnight.
I think I would disconnect from the mains and then try starting again. If the PIN page doesn't appear, or it doesn't subsequently appear after then leaving the TV powered up overnight, you may have a more serious problem.
