Dear fellow Beoworlders,

I wanted to share some pictures of my BL17 table stand. Take the unboxing pics with a wink, it is merely to justify the somewhat exorbitant price (1500kr). I also purchased the B&O book for myself for Christmas Big Smile

Yes - thumbs up

I like the colourful distractors - to keep little fingers away from picking at the speaker covers ? Smile

I'm looking forward to receiving my BeoLab 17 & table stand!  I ordered it a month ago and I was told it would be delivered within three weeks... so I am hoping it is coming!  It looks like it is time to call Abt to check on the order.  Yes they are expensive, along with everything else BeoLab 17 related!

Expensive indeed for so small table stands, but worth paying for these fantastic Beolab 17s. I just love them. Wondering how would they look like on floor stands in my appartment.

Like most things B&O, photos don't do them justice. Beolab 17s are absolutely stunning, and much smaller in person. The floor stands are a lot lower in person as well. But they really do make the speakers look like they're floating. The 17s pack quite a wallop for their size. I hope you're enjoying them!

Hi Sal, you're right. As the focus of the picture is the speaker they look bigger than they are.

Here an old(er) picture with the BL17 on floorstands, I just couldn't do that longer with 3kids in my household.

I like my BL17 alot but the only thing is that one of the speakers is noticable more powerful, like 'the dominant speaker' as someone else wrote it. Still didn't get my head around how to have this checked in an easy matter.

Are your speakers wired or wireless, and does this matter?   Do you know how common this is?

Still waiting for my pair!

Do you mean have this checked yourself?  Could you get a Db meter for your tablet or phone, unplug one of the speakers and take a reading on the one speaker.  Reverse it and play the same song and take a reading on the other?  Would that verify the sound level of the speakers???

Hello, an update to my BL17 experience.

I have updated software in BL Transmitter1 and both Beolabs but still one speaker is loader than the other. I have tested this with the dB apps as suggested.

I will try later today to switch L R position to see if problem than occurs with the other speaker.
