Hi,
I plan to connect beolab speakers to Loewe products. I know in a normal set up, I need a av processor to handle surround sounds for beolab speakers. However, I have noticed Loewe TV, Loewe MediaCenter and Loewe MediaVision3D have inbuilt sound processor can handle surround sound.
My question is is there anyway to use Loewe products act like an AV receiver for beolabs? What cable or adapter would need? And how is the sound quality and surround sound handling affect? Has anyone done this before?
Many Thanks

Hello Heribert,
Thanks for your reply first, do you know where can I get the Loewe plug converter? And the Loewe plug converter can connect to Loewe mediavision 3D or Loewe TV?
Forgot to mention , does the Loewe plug converter have front, rear and subwoofer socket for beolab speakers?
Hi Bai,
You can get the plug/cable at your Loewe Dealer, it is an official Loewe product. It has all 5.1 plugs plus a white plug, where I think it is for power supply of a sub… With the Loewe Plug you need to put the BL to “LINE Mode”, then they turn on, when a line signal comes.
The change in speaker mode does not do anything to them (on short term, but the switch off after some time without signal). For me (as just owning B&O) it was surprising, that a stereo TV programm just activated the two Beolab fronts, but not the center (Loewe TV Speaker). But the dealer confirmed this is OK.
Kind regards,
Heribert
